The Olive Oil Factory is a fast-growing company focused on delivering the highest quality oil and vinegar to our customers. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team and be a part of something great. We have an outstanding career opportunity for a driven, successful technician with 1 or more years of lab or QA experience.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday-Saturdays, as needed. 2:15 pm to 10:45 pm-Full time

***ONLY Night Shift Available***

Pay Range: $21.50 to $24.00-Based on experience

General Duties

-Responsible for monitoring and documentation of all Quality Control Points on the production line (e.g. weight, label height, lot code).

-Complete and maintain all QA/food safety production reports
Maintain finished product retention program

-Report and document all simple corrective deviations in food safety/food quality to the line supervisor

-Hold and document products that are out of specification

-Comfortable working with lab equipment and chemicals Laboratory Testing

-Maintain daily glass breakage logs

-Scan production logs and save files into the network drive

-Conduct GMP audits and reports infractions to supervisors

Work Environment:

-Positions are in a warehouse facility with temperatures based on normal environmental conditions

-Hearing protection and safety glasses are provided

-Work surfaces are primarily concrete with anti-fatigue mats provided where feasible

-An employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts at times
The noise level is usually loud

Production Requirements:

-At least 18 years of age

-Must be comfortable working with a computer (eg. Excel, Outlook)

-Must be comfortable working with hairnets and/or beard nets and smocks

-Must be comfortable standing and walking throughout the warehouse

-Must have reliable transportation, be punctual, and maintain good attendance

-Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
